ABOUT

Since my practice opened in 1990, I have become widely known and respected as an authority in my field, providing regular relationship and health advice on TV, radio and in the press. I work with people of all ages.

People come to me with a wide range of problems, from relationship issues, performance, confidence, bereavement, post-traumatic stress and work-related problems to phobias, anxiety and depression. In everything I do, confidentiality is absolute.

Since 1990 I have maintained consulting rooms in Hertfordshire & Harley Street. I have counselled for Social Services (young people in care) PPC Employee Assistance, the Law Society, Drug & Alcohol Programmes, Probation Services & School referrals.

Much of my work has a short term focus, typically between 5 and 10 sessions, but this varies greatly according to need, as does the type of treatment – hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, CBT or any combination of these. In every situation, I provide advice to help develop insights to enable the client to understand why and what has happened so that they can take control of the present, and the future.

I am a fully trained counsellor and I am PCI DSS compliant. I have regular CPD (continuing professional development) with The Royal Society of Medicine. I also supervise other counsellors / hypnotherapists and trained as a supervisor at the Metanoia Institute. I have regular supervision with a Clinical psychologist.
